Project - ITL Controller

Integration Technologies Ltd (ITL) provides innovative retail automation components ready for integration by systems providers. Continually developing fresh products to meet the needs of a changing marketplace, ITL’s latest challenge was to upgrade its existing forecourt controller case design.
The brief called for a refreshed visual direction, an enhanced user interface, and manufacturing optimisation through improved material selection and production processes.

With these goals in mind, ITL approached Idea Developments for their end-to-end design expertise, from early concept exploration through to production. Idea created the new concept design, validated the improved user interface through mock-ups, and then engineered the design with detailed manufacturing specifications. Idea produced a prototype for evaluation, and 3D renderings were developed for marketing.
Idea also collaborated with ITL’s production suppliers, providing manufacturing support and quality control to ensure the new product was delivered successfully.
