Project - Kofetch App

Johelma – Serviços, Comércio e Indústria is a leading provider of IT, telecommunications, and digital transformation solutions across West Africa and Europe.
Seeking to expand into the app development sector, Johelma identified a gap in the market for a social media–based platform dedicated to dogs and their owners, with a core focus on connecting dog breeders.

With this opportunity in mind, Johelma approached Idea for their expertise in early-stage product concept research and validation. Idea’s design team investigated the target user base with focus group research, defining specifications, and evaluated potential features to determine the scope of the app concept. Further value adding services from Idea included developing the brand name and logo, along facilitating intellectual property (IP) protection and internation trademark registration.
With the brief refined, Idea design team transformed Johelma’s idea into a concept app design. User flows, layouts, and wireframes evolved into a semi-functional mock-up—built without the heavy coding usually required.

This lean approach gave Johelma a tangible vision to share with investors and target users, securing valuable feedback and validating the concept as a strong foundation for future growth.
